pinkhair [ assisted ]	9:14p	Directions - Carnation Pink More Like... Just to let you guys know. I just dyed my hair with Directions - Carnation Pink and it's turnt out more like SFX - Atomic Pink! This annoys me because I wanted the exact carnation pink shade it said it was. Also fyi, I had bleached hair which was bleached to a near enough white and it's come out like atomic pink! Just can't believe it. Might be handy to some of you who want the shade of atomic pink over bleached hair but can't get hold of AP. Also, I have used Directions alot in the past and I personally think the staying power is as great as AP. (10 Comments |Comment on this)
pinkhair [ biro ]	5:02p	I've got two bottles of SFX Cupcake Pink - one is nearly full, an one has only a tiny smidge left. So basically about one bottle's worth. Anyone want to buy them off me? My hairdresser said it will fade quicker with my hair being bleached and i don't want it to fade yet.. lol >< Are there any techniques to stop it fading as much? I've heard that washing it with cooler water will help.. anything else? Like only shampoo or only condition it? I know my hairdresser only conditioned it after she dyed it... does it help? pinkhair [ r_lucretia ]	7:45p	A lot of questions I'm going to bleach my roots again soon and the rest of my hair is just messed up, it's still pink but to many different shades, some orange due to an inproper bleach job of a local hairdresser, so I want my hair to be as evenly platinum as it can get..any ideas? There's also faded red and pink shades from different brands. Should I, after I did my roots, bleach the rest of my hair for like 5 minutes? This worked for me in the past, or should I use a decolourizer? +Is it wise to bleach, then use a white toner, then dye the hair pink? (I think it might be a good idea for other colours like blue or green?) +How about using vinegar or lemon juice in the rinsing process, to close the cuticles, will it remove to much of the pink? (I don't want to remove any of the pink when I just dyed it!) +What happens if you use white toner over faded pink, like my hair is now? Would it get the yellow/orange out or would it be like painting a pillar box with white water based paint ;p ? P.S. pinkhair [ chelliem ]	11:11p	Colour/Brand Guide (Manic Panic, SFX, Directions Pictures) A lot of people have been asking about specific shades, and brands. For those of you who don't know about this website, here you can see actual pictures of people's hair organized by brand and colour. I know most of you are pinkheads, so here you can browse some different brands to see what shade of pink is right for you. Also, for the record I want to point out that Special FX has the absolute most long lasting pink I've ever come across, and I've been dying my hair for 10 years. Some people have to order it online, but I assure you, once you try it you'll never go back to another brand. It's only 8 dollars, basically the regular price of dye. The only hairdye that comes close to SFX is called "Directions", or in some countries, "Punky Colours". I prefer them for blues and turquoise though. I hope this helps! pinkhair [ fievrereve ]	3:16p	Extension questions Hey there~ I've had pink hair before, and I'm thinking of going back to it when the new year comes around. The only thing is that I have short hair and I wear extensions. I'm planning on buying new extensions that are clip in and dying them to match my hair, but I'm afraid that my real hair would fade faster than the extensions since I'd wash my own hair more often than the extension hair. Over the past day we have processed around 11 million jobs out of the 12 million that were in queue at that time. Please bear in mind that over this past day, more jobs for notifications are also created. So while the queue has been dropping, we are still not fully caught up at this point, due to backlog and new jobs. We have roughly 3 million jobs still pending that involve the notification system in some manner. We had hoped we could have fully cleared the queue in a day, but unfortunately we can't clear it too quickly, since we need the rest of the site to operate normally. From our current perspective on the amount of jobs that are left in queue, and how many it has processed thus far, we believe it will take around another 8 - 12 hours to process everything.
